I’m pretty sure it was fate that brought this family to me (along with a community conscious mama who enjoys supporting other local moms)! Newish to our lake neighborhood, they wanted a fishing theme for their son’s first birthday boutique photography session. When I asked if they had a fishing pole, I figured we’d be looking at some kind of plastic deal in baby colors. But turns out, they make real working fishing poles for tots! And seriously–how cute is this? I love the way the photos not only reflect little boy’s birthday milestone but also the special little hideaway in New Jersey where we live!
This little fisherman was an amazing model–the biggest problem of our session was figuring out which photos to choose!

PS–my Valentine’s portrait sets are adorable and I still have openings available. Great for bringing an unexpected smile to grandma and grampa’s face when they get an adorable Valentine from their little cupid cutie or angel! Also, it’s winter and I’m bored. So my pricing is unbeatable!
If you’re interested in a portrait session in my home studio, please do reach out! I love cake smash, but I also have less intense “fake smash” options available, as well as super simple 20-minute mini session options.
