I’m feeling so fortunate to have been able to meet up with this lovely set of twins for their first birthday cake smash pictures! Not only did I get to create this beautiful “shabby chic” set and take cake smash pictures–but for TWO babies at once!?! Well I always do love a challenge! Sign me up!
We had so much fun making a grand old mess. Cake smash embodies what I love most about photographing toddlers–their unique personalities and their love of having fun! Little boy was covered from head to toe by the time we were wrapping things up. And the little lady was interested for a while, but then decided she’d rather not get too sticky. No problem though–Daddy swooped in and picked her up, icing and all. As they were leaving he told me, “Looks like I didn’t get too messy!” And I said, “Yep, that’s what it looks like…from the front!” The little lady had smeared cake all over his shoulder blades.
Anyway, here are just a very few images from the many that came out of our session!

PS–my Valentine’s portrait sets are adorable and I still have openings available. Great for bringing an unexpected smile to grandma and grampa’s face when they get an adorable Valentine from their little cupid cutie or angel! Also, it’s winter and I’m bored. So my pricing is unbeatable!
If you’re interested in a portrait session in my home studio, please do reach out! I love cake smash, but I also have less intense “fake smash” options available, as well as super simple 20-minute mini session options.
